Chris and Rachel’s wedding… what a day this was… Emotional. Happy. Tear-jerking. Epic!
The ceremony and reception were held at St Ives Harbour Hotel (The Porthminster) and the venue was amazing. Even on an overcast, rainy day, the beach views and atmosphere were stunning and tranquil. Rain doesn’t spoil the day – we love going out in the rain if our couples are up for it, and Chris and Rach certainly were.
They invited us to tell the story of their day, and we tried to tell it as we saw it – a love story like no other – and that’s what it’s all about! These images can’t tell you the whole story, but hopefully they will give you an idea of what we witnessed. The boys starting the day with a leisurely surf, Rachel’s dad and bridesmaids seeing her in the dress for the first time, reading their own vows during the ceremony (tear-jerking moment for us too), walk on the beach in the rain, emotional and very funny speeches, and the evening party going well into the night.
