We have really been looking forward to blogging Gary and Lian’s wedding – a truly fabulous day at The Carbis Bay Hotel in St Ives – gorgeous views, intricate details, and lots and lots of love :)
Gary is a creative director of a graphic design company in London, and his creative flair showed in the details, which he designed.
There was a casual gathering, barbecue on the beach the day before the wedding and the wedding itself took place the following day at the Carbis Bay Hotel, which has the most stunning views.
Lian was seven months pregnant on their wedding day, and she looked stunning in an understated silk Tiffany Rose dress. The colour palette was grey, white and mustard – Gary’s favourite colour.
They got married on 29th October, hence the couple portraits under a no.29 beach hut (this wasn’t planned, it just happened on the day :) The source of the invite was an upside down pear tree, which is Gary and Lian’s happy place. Whenever they are apart they say to each other “meet you under the upside down pear tree”. So, we brought chalk, and Gary drew the tree… The whole story behind this touched and inspired us. We are so privileged to have met them – such lovely, genuine and truly creative people who have become our friends.
So, here it is… a large selection of photos from their Cornish seaside wedding. Hope you like, and feel free to leave a comment at the bottom of the post :)
